11-30-09 UPDATE Amigo spent two weeks in what we hoped would be his forever home, but he was not able to be comfortable with the four year old. so he is back and needs to be in a home with adults and older children. 11-8-09- Sweet little Amigo is still with us and we just LOVE him--so does everyone he meets! Unfortunately there are more homeless dogs than good homes so Amigo is waiting patiently at the pound. Amigo is no longer the scared puppy that was rescued off the streets; he is happy and gets along with all of the other dogs-large and small and is always ready to walk on leash or cuddle in a lap. If you are looking for a great home and park companion--Amigo is your Little Man! 23-09 Can you believe this sweet little (about 10 pounds) dog was abandoned and left to scavenge for himself in a city neighborhood? Sweet little Amigo is so scared and trying to be friends with any person he has contact with. Do you need a friend? Amigo is waiting! Please save lives by adopting from shelters and rescues and by spaying and neutering your own pets!
